February proved to be another very rewarding month for equity investors, with many of the world’s markets trading near all-time highs as stronger economic growth and corporate earnings prevailed over concerns about Greece and other issues. European stocks in particular were buoyed by the ECB’s imminent bond buying programme and severe weakness in the Euro. After a period of sustained outperformance by US companies over their foreign counterparts, we ask whether we have reached a tipping point where European and other international stocks start to outperform.
