This month’s insight piece follows the shareholder unrest in Sika ,one of our positions, following the Burkard family’s decision to sell their controlling stake to St Gobain for a whopping 80% premium to the exclusion and detriment of all other shareholders. From time to time as investors, we are forced to take a more public and high profile stance in the interest of protecting our rights. This was one of those times when we passionately believed our voice should be heard and we were certainly in good company.
