Charles is a Senior Credit Analyst and Co-Portfolio Manager of the Emerging Market Debt Stars fund at J. Stern & Co. Charles uses his investment experience in Emerging and Developed Markets to help drive our efforts for the Firm’s credit strategies.

Prior to joining J. Stern & Co, Charles was a Credit Investment Analyst at GIB Asset Management where he focussed on Emerging Markets corporate credit opportunities. During his time there, he worked on both long/short and long-only credit strategies.

He has also worked at Investec Bank as a Leveraged Finance Analyst where he focused on fundamental bottom-up analysis on companies in a broad range of industries across Europe.

A British National, Charles holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. Charles is a CFA Charterholder and also holds the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
